Back to School!

Hi all!

I made this card today to enter into *The Shabby Tearoom* challenge.  The theme is *ABC-123*  and here is their inspiration picture.

My take for this theme is a box card

I found the apples, pencil and chalkboard clipart online, they were free.  I stamped the sunflowers on yellow card stock, then cut them out.  I used my Copics to add a little orange & brown to them, but they look more orange than yellow on here.  I added *back to school* on the chalkboard in my Memory Mixer program.  Here's some more pictures.

Thanks for dropping by, hope you have a lovely day!

New Home!

Just a quick post tonight.
I made this card today for a young family friend who has just moved into his first house....as you can see, his name is Hunter.  By the way, the house looks a bit pink on the picture, but it's red.

The house & mailbox are digi images I found online for free.  The trees and clouds are dies.  I made the fence....it looks a little wonky, but that's how I wanted it.......country style!  I popped up the trees and mail box for a little dimension.
Hope he likes it!

That's all for now, hope you'll come back soon.
Have a good night!

Dogwood Flower Card

Hello Friends!

Hope this finds you all well.  I have been playing with some new stamps and this dogwood flower is one of them.

I stamped the image onto vellum with black Memento ink.  When it was completely dry I turned it over and with my embossing tool I burnished the flowers, which breaks down the fibres and turns white.  When you turn it over the black inked lines are still visible....such a neat & fun technique.  I then coloured the leaves with my Copics, glued the image down onto the embossed green paper and then added the Die-namics *Cross stitch oval* frame.  This is a simple, easy & quick card to make.

On another note, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I won the Shabby Tea Rooms *Summer Picnic* challenge with this card...

Hope you have a great day!
Thanks for stopping by!
